The Grand Finale of the Electronic Expo in the Junction Mall, Durgapur in association with the Times of India. 

Junction Mall presented their Electronics Expo – electronics fair in association with the Times of India first time in this city from 10^th to 18^thMarch - an event where the best brands were converged and displayed their wares. Crowds of people attended the programme. The people from Asansol, Raniganj, Andal and other areas were bee-lined themselves to join the programme and all the stall owners are happy for their huge turnover.

In their “Grab-a-scratch-card” intriguing programme a good number of people from Burdwan, Birbhum, Bankura, Purulia joined the contest and yielded exciting prizes on all the days of the event. Moreover in that Electronics Expo – there were various other attractive and innovative programme. They had arranged for Broken Barrier – the inter college fashion show competition. Many of the college girls and boys who had a dream of becoming a modeler and were not getting any chances to explore themselves, they got a very good platform in this event. In Zoom Photography competition many passionate photographers participated in the programme to show their charisma in this field and Saikat Maity became the champion in Nature Photography and Bappaditya Chandra became the champion in both the wild life and expression division. . In the Technova Programme – the Techno and Electronic Innovation Competition almost all the students from the renowned Engineering Colleges had participated and Gourav Singh from NIT, Durgapur became the Champion and Amit Dutta and Ritwik Poddar both from NIT, Durgapur bagged the runners up trophy. Many students from other colleges like BC Roy Engineering College, NHIT showed their innovative researches in the field of electronic innovation.

There were many other attractive programmes for the kids also in the ‘kids carnival’ – the sit n draw, IQ Test, Dance Competition and the like. In the grane finale of their ‘Nachle’ programme – Debajyoti became the champion and Devlina became the runner up in the kids’ Division and from 16+ GROUP Jiten Das from Bankura showed his excellent performance in this field and all the judges and the passionate audiences applauded him much for his charisma and bagged the Championship Trophy and Achinta Das became the runner up in this Division. In this fashion show ‘Manichitram’ the art institution took the entire responsibility of choreography and others to embellish the programme. The Groovers Group became the group champion in this Nachle programme. In the best junction couple award competition many a couple took part to grab the award by qualifying many stages but finally Mr. & Mrs. Saraogi of Durgapur became and Mr. & Mrs. Bhasin of Durgapur became the runner up.
