YOGA Camp organized in Durgapur Thermal Power Station.

 

          A Yoga camp was organized by DTPS (Durgapur Thermal Power Station), DVC (Damodar Valley Corporation) Hospital Authority, Durgapur on 16^th December in the evening at DTPS Welfare Center. Mr. Goutam Chanda, Deputy Chief Engineer (E&I) was the Chief Guest in the programme. Dr. M. K. Nandi, Ex-Med. Superintendent and Vice President of West Bengal State Committee was the special guest in the programme. Dr. Chinmoy De, Medical Superintendent of DTPS Hospital explained the utility of Yoga to combat the stress and strain faced now by the people particularly in this industrial area as a whole.  Mrs. Manju Jana, the renowned yoga trainer who got special training from the Patanjali Yoga Kendra of Hardwar conducted the whole programme. More than sixty employees including their spouses took active part in this training programme. “For the outstanding response of the employees and the residents of this area, we will try to conduct such programmes regularly.” – said Dr. S. R. Bhowmick of DTPS Hospital.
